1.  Stephen LONG (4299); born circa 1720.

     He immigrated on the ship "Winter Galley" along with other German immigrants arriving in Philadelphia, PA on September 5, 1738.

 

     Children of Stephen Long (4299) and an unknown spouse were:

     Children of Joseph Long (4298) and an unknown spouse were:

+         3.        i.    Ephraim (518), born 1810 in VA; married Hannah ?  (519).

 

Generation Three

 

 

3.  Ephraim LONG (518); born 1810 in VA;[1] married Hannah ? (519) circa 1832.[2]

     He was a laborer in 1850 in Montgomery Co., VA.[3]

 

     HANNAH ? (519) was born in 1814.[4]

     Children of Ephraim Long (518) and Hannah  ? (519) were as follows:

+         4.        i.    Louemma (61), born 1834 in VA; married David P. Keister (60).

           5.        ii.    Elizabeth (520); born 1837.[5]

           6.      iii.    Malinda (521); born 1839.[6]

           7.       iv.    Floyd (522); born 1841 in Montgomery County, VA.[7]

     He began military service on April 12, 1862 at Camp Success, VA.  In the Civil War, Floyd enlisted in the 36th VA INF, Co. C.  His service record follows.

     Co. C. Enlisted 4/12/62 at Camp Success. Present and transferred to Co. I in 2/63.[8]
