  To my wife Rebecca all estate real and personal for raising and educating the children. To
eldest son Charles hald the land where I now live, slaves etc. To son Wm. Hudson Tait, slaves
James, Lewis, Milley and Randolph. To daughter Nancy Coloson, slaves Tom, Webster, Buck, 
Barbary, Betty, Hager and her child for lie at her death to her children. To daughter Barbara
Oliver slaves  Bob. Winny and her three children. To grandson Hudson Ware, slave Gilbert. To
daughters, Pasty, Louisa, America, and Charity and son James Miller as they come of age or 
marry, Slaves. Calls these his youngest children. Sons Charles and Wm. Hudson Tait Excrs.

  To wife Elishaba several slaves, household furniture etc., for widowhood. To son John 100
acres including the plantation whereon he now lives. To son William 100 acres adj. the land 
he bought of R.L. Tait. To son James 100 acres including the place where he formely lived.
To sons David, Daniel and Enos the other 400 acres of my land to be equally divided, Enos to
the part whereon the dewlling house now stands. To daughters Lucy, and Betsy, slave and beds
etc, each. To daughter Susanna the legacy I have given her. 490 acres in Wayne Co., to be sold
for distribution among all the children. David Hudson and sons John and William Excrs.

Ann Harris, dtr of Rachel Harris dec'd and to the children of William A. Nelson dec'd $500.00
each. To Luther Henry Martin son of Jane Johnston, certain slaves and the tract of land 
whereon I know live. To Enos, son of James Tate, Esqr., a slave now in said James possession.
Residue to grand nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Jane, Milton and Madison Tate, children of 
Susan Tate, dec'd and the children of Phillip Johnson and James Arnold, dec'd and the 
children of Elizabeth Fortson. Enos Tate Jr., son of Zimri, James M. and Ashbury Tate, Excrs.
