TATE DECEASED LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT Know all men by these presents that I, Wm. Tate, do hereby make and publish this, my last will and testament, hereby revoking all others made by me at any previous time. 1st, I give and bequeath to my Grand-son, Elvis Tate, Six Hundred Dollars in money. He is also to receive an equal share in the remainder of my estate. Now if the said Elvis Tate should die without heirs, his property (if any) is to be reverted to my estate to be equally divided among my heirs-at-law 2nd,Lucy Ann Cook has already received Three Hundred Dollars, which is to be her full share. 3rd, Now after the said Elvis receives Six Hundred Dollars in money, the remainder of my estate is to be equally divided among the following heirs, to-wit: G.C. Tate, James F. Tate, Jo B. Tate, J.H. Tate, Elvis Tate, Marthy Murphy, and Sarah McMillin. I hereby appoint my son-in-law, A. McMillin, executor. I will that he pay all my just debts, burial expenses, have tomb stones erected to my wife's (Elizabeth A. Tate) grave, also my grave. I, Wm. Tate, am in right mind; do not want this will tampored with after my death. If any person or persons should attempt to break this will, it is my will that such person or persons pay costs of Courts for both sides. I also will that my Executor sell home place and divide the proceeds of the said sale equally among my lawful heirs. This, November 14th, 1899 Wm. Tate C.T. Hendley J.A.
