Michael Nardozzi was born in Italy about 1871. He married Clara Caputo. Clara came to America when she was 9 years old. Her parents were Nicola Caputo and Archangela. They lived in Potenza, Basilicata, Italy and came to
America in 1897. In 1920, "Michial Nardozzo," then 49, was living with his family at 178 Vidette Street.

Michael's wife was Clara, also born in Italy.
Mary Caputo-Kamerer explained that Clara's "parents were Archangela (born 1867,
d. 1921) and Nicola (b.1864, d. 1936)." Archangela and Nicola Caputo had nine children. They were:
