Tapp USA Surname Site

Welcome to my Rootsweb Tapp surname research site. My goal is to facilitate people who are researching the Tapp surname in the USA. Please note that I am conducting a single name study and this is NOT a lineage web site. Many unrelated Tapp families are in this WorldConnect Tree - what they have in common is they lived in the USA before 1910.

I also host the web site TappFamily.US which has a different interface for searching my Tree as well as many other features including photos and stories, Tapp legends, information about various branches of the Tapp family, a DNA project, other Tapp resources and known errors in some of those resources, Native American roots information, census transcriptions, military records, newspaper abstracts, and much more.
