Census Roll of Creek Self-Emigrants, 1870-71, part 1.

Special File 285 [M574, roll 77, frames 12-28]

Creek Self-Emigrant roll, 1870-71
Part 1

Go to Part 1 ... Part 2 ... Part 3

This Creek "self-emigrant" roll was compiled between May 1870 and Dec. 1871. The ages listed on this roll are presumably the ages as of 1870-71 but could also be the ages at the time of emigration. In 1886 this roll with many eliminations and corrections was finalized by G.W. Stidham and used as the basis for payments to the Creek "self-emigrants" and their heirs.   See the 1886 Stidham Roll of Self-Emigrants.
