Joseph Cadieu and Anne Hunt

"Joseph Cadue was born May 24, 1841 on Wolfe Island, and bapt. as Felix Cadieu,
St. Mary's Kingston May 31, s/o Leon Cadieux & Thaisse Huot (Yott).
Thaisse was d/o Herut Rene Huot & Josephete Pelletier.
Married Feb 9, 1863, St. John's to Ann Hunt d/o John Damer Hunt & Ellen Foley.

Ann was born June 1, 1841 or 1849 (Baptism not found in 1841, and it is
hardly likely that she was born at this time, as I have a record of a
child born and baptized of unknown child, but Hunt's were sponsors,
after her father John Damer died, also she was a minor at the time of
her marriage. So I believe she was born after her father died.
Ann is buried in St. Johns cemetery.
Her mother (Ellen Foley) died in 1854.
Ann Hunt was related to Captain George Hunt of Huntsville Ontario
(Huntsville's Founder) (Have lots more on the Hunt Family)

They lived on South Range Lot 23. & Lot 12 North Range Howe Island.
The Cadue's are buried in St. John's RC Gananoque also Ann's parents
are buried there. Thaisse is believed to be buried either on Wolfe or
Howe Island in an unmarked grave. Leon died July 9, 1899 in House of
Providence. Thaisse died shortly after Felix Joseph Cadue was born as
in the 1861 Census he is listed with his father (name Lozo? (sic)
All information is proven Re: death birth, marriage, certificates,
family pictures."
