"Asahel Kyes, husband of Sarah Mosier (daughter of Lewis Moshier) was a
British soldier in the War of 1812.
He died 14 Jul 1813 at Lansdowne Township, Leeds County, Canada.
He was buried at the Lansdowne Cemetery, Lansdowne, Leeds County, Ontario."

"The tombstone for Sarah Mosier, daughter of Lewis Mosher [note name
spelling difference - and the additional spelling of her surname as
'Mosure' on the marker].
Sarah was born Feb 1778 in Quebec.
She married (1) Asahel Kyes, and (2) Thomas Yates.
Sarah died 6 Sep 1859 at Lansdowne, Leeds County, Ontario, and is buried at the Lansdowne Cemetery, Lansdowne, Ontario.
Sarah was granted an OC for 200 acres, on her father's behalf, on 11 Nov 1815."
