purpose of paying their teacher Granted on conditions of Trustees giving their
note at 6 per cent and that the amount be deducted out of their special rate
for 1867. Carried.

That Messrs. Wilmot, Cassady and Urguhart be a comittee to lease the Howe Island Ferry and make a shedule of charges of fares to be collected on the Laneand they have power to lease the same for one
year. Carried.

at a valuation of 50 pounds complains of the same, the council decided no
reduction could be made.
