� Peacefully at Providence Manor on Friday February 22 2013 in her 99th year, Maggie Flynn beloved wife of the late Joseph Grimshaw. Cherished mother of Peter Grimshaw (Kathy) and predeceased by her daughter Claudette Grimshaw, Grandma will forever live in the hearts of her grandchildren Shelli Grimshaw, Keri (Gino) Algieri, Joe Grimshaw (Shauntra), and great grandchildren Tyler and Ben Grimshaw and Noah and Mateo Algieri. Maggie is predeceased by her parents Matthew Flynn and Catherine Lacey. Sister of the late Lester (Rose), Jim (Buleh), Edward (Louise), Harold (Geraldine), Jack (Bernice), Corinne Hawkins (Edward), Marie LaRush (Richard) and infant brother Edmund Also fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, Wolfe Island Tuesday February 26th, at 11:00 a.m. Maggie family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass time. �Peacefully in his 88th year, on Thursday March 14th 2013 at Rideaucreast Home, Kingston, ON. He is survived by his son Gregory(Yvonne Compton), daughter Mary Lynn (Marty Krebs), grandchildren Brooke MacDonald, Hannah and Evan Krebs, great grandson Calum MacDonald, extended family Craig and Pam Vance (Ava and Leah) and Megan VanNoten (Jeff Koob). Dear brother of Duncan and his wife Glenys and their sons Edward, Duncan and Jason and brother in law of Helen Vasko (George), Rodney McKenna (Jane), Ed Siville, as well as many numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife and love of his life, Mary Frances, his parents Leonard and Caroline, brother Edward, grandson Charlie, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Alice McKenna, Monica Forestell, Donna Siville and nephews Randy Mac Donald, Peter Vasko and Gary Forestell. Don was a proud and progressive dairy farmer on Wolfe Island who marveled at the wonders of nature and God. He introduced trefoil to eastern Ontario in the 50�s and brought the first round baler and limousine cattle to the Island. He was a devoted member of several agricultural organizations as well as being director of Kemptville College, and President of the Ontario Soils and Crop Association. Don because a council member for Wolfe Island Township to establish a safe year round ferry crossing after his brother Edward, was drowned crossing the ice to Kingston. After 13 years on council, Don became Deputy Reeve for an additional 11 years and sat on County Council. For his ears of volunteering he was the recipient of the Confederation Medal for Exceptional Community Service. Don loved history, especially of Wolfe Island and could give a family history of each property passed by on a Sunday afternoon drive. At Regiopolis, Don was an exceptional student and completed Grade 13 when he was sixteen but did not continue to post-secondary due to the World War II. However he never stopped learning and was voracious reader, interested in the world and its happenings. Don was a kind gentleman, a true Christian and a friend to all with his positive outlook and ready jokes. He loved his family deeply, especially, Mary, his wife of 59 years. His family would like to express since thanks to the Staff of Gardenwalk Terrace at Rideaucrest for their wonderful care of Dad over the past 2 years. Friends will be received at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 49 Colborne Street, Kingston on Sunday, March 17th. Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred heart of Mary parish, Wolfe Island on Monday, March 18 at 11:00 am. After a brief illness, passed away suddenly at the Kingston General Hospital on February 21, 2008 in her 63rd year. Loving mother to Brian, Robert (Holly) and Edward. Cherished grandmother to Samantha. She is also survived by her sister Nadine Cantarutti, and her brothers Darrel and Roger Staley. She will be sadly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen is predeceased by her parents Lillian Greenwood and Melville Staley. Family and friends will be received at the Gordon F. Patricia Agnes (nee Darling) Coulter COULTER, Patricia Agnes (nee Darling)
�October 18, 1948 � January 11, 2013. It is with great sdness and broken hearts that we announce the death of Patricia on January 11, 2013. Patricia died peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital with her family by her side. She fought pancreatic cancer for five years with courage, with hope and with faith. She is truly an inspiration to her family. Patricia leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of forty three years, Tom. A loving mother to her three daughters Lisa (Garry Cantarutti), Christian (Paul Kenney) and Sarah (Adam Snider) She will be greatly missed by her seven beloved grandchildren Christian, Maggie, Jack, Anna, Emily, Liam and Rachel. Patricia is the daughter of the late Cyril Darling and the late Mary Brophy, sister of the late John Darling, sister to Elizabeth (Len) Skinner, Margaret Darling and sister-in-law Angela McDonnell. She will always be remembered and missed by her extended Coulter family and her many nieces, nephews and good friends. Family and friend will be received at the Gordon F. He lived his life on Wolfe Island, passed away peacefully at Providence Manor with his family by his side on Thursday, September 24th, 2009 where he received wonderful care for the past six years. Beloved husband of Mary Johnson (2004). Loved father of Edmund (Anne), Therese Neuper (Harold) all of Wolfe Island, Eileen Biss (Paul) of Kingston; predeceased by his sons Hugh, William and Vincent. Sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; predeceased by 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear brother of Carmel Priest (Don, deceased) and the late Veronica (Al) McNamme. Predeceased by parents William and Nora (nee Greenwood). Remembered by his daughters-in-law Cindy and Theresa Taggart and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Rodney and Kathleen McKenna, brother Bill McKenna (Alice) and sisters Monica Forestell and Donna Siville, brother-in-law Edward MacDonald and grandson Charlie MacDonald. Mary and Don ran a large dairy farm on Wolfe Island where Mary was very involve in many community organizations including the Catholic Women�s League, the Women�s Institute, 4-H and the Kingston Agricultural Society. She spent many years working at Canada Trust and knew everyone in downtown Kingston. She loved to do crafts in her leisure time and had a business selling her dried flower pictures, corn husk dolls and candles but she gave many more away. Mary was renowned as a great cook and loved nothing better than to feed family, friends and hired men. She was married to Don for 59 years and their love never wavered to the end. The family would like to thank the staff at Rideaucrest and her brothers and sisters for their compassion, helping Mary through her final journey. Friends will be received at Gordon F. Audrey Gurnsey (nee Niles)
Born December 28, 1930, daughter to Lillian and Howard Niles. Sister of Douglas, Jean and Sherman.
Audrey was born on Wolfe Island where she lived till she had children of her own. Mother to Niles and Melinda as well as Ian and Gail (predeceased).
Known to all as Nana especially her Grandchildren Liza, Kris, Adriane, Erik, Andrew, Selin and Great Grandchildren Noah and Alexis.
She was a great friend who always had time and advice for anyone. To her you were not only a friend, you were family. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything else in the world and was felt the same by them.
Audrey worked on the Bell Switch Board when it was located on Wolfe Island. She loved working at the Hotel Dieu, but was happy to retire to spend more time with loved ones. She always had a smile and a story for any occasion.
We will miss the laughter and the woman who made everyday better and cut, scrape or broken heart heal faster. Every day, in some small way, Memories of you come our way. Though absent, you are ever near, Still missed, still loved and ever dear.

, Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 9th, 2009 in his 88th year, while holding the hand of Reta, his loving wife of 67 years. Much loved by his children, Harry (Mary), Harriet (Bob) Corkey, Allan (Lynda), Dick (Betty), Lenore (Bobby) Hunter, Ann (Ken) Mosier, Glenn (Eva) and Gale (Paula). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Norman, Craig, Kay, Emmeline, Gwen, Redmond, Olga, Ola and Ruth. Papa will always be remembered by his 33 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Eugene could always be found in the horse barn hitching up the horses or working hard in Papa�s Shop waiting for someone to hand him another piece of leather to mend. We love you Papa (Dad). HENDERSON, Frederick
1914-2004 Frederick (Fred) Christoper Henderson went to be with his late beloved wife Coe on Friday, March 19, 2044 at the age of 89 years. Fred will be remembered and sadly missed by his children, Jack (Shirley) Hasselaar of West Virginia, USA, Arthur (Debbie) Henderson of Wolfe Island, ON, Nancy (Jerry) Gibbons, Vivian (Don) Brien, and Paul (Tracey) Henderson, all of Calgary; as well as by ten grandchildren, Jack Jr. Les, Christoper, Ian, Brett, Krista, Chad, Donald (Nora), Casey and Jacoba. Fred will also be remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews and friends both in Ontario and Calgary. Along with his wife Jacoba �Coe�, he is also predeceased by his parents and all of his brothers and sisters. Fred was born on June 20, 1914 on Wolfe Island, ON to Arthur and Mary Henderson. He was the youngest of eight children and ran the family cheese factory on Wolfe Island for many years. It was there he met and married the love of his life, Jocoba �Coe� Hasselar and they soon started their family. Fred moved to Kingston and worked hard until his retirement from Alcan. He cared for his loving wife when she fell ill, and spend everyday with her. Fred loved life, had a story for every occasion, and a joke to make people laugh. After the passing of Coe, Fred moved to Calgary, AB from Kingston in July 1999 to be closer to his family. Due to illness, Fred moved into the Father Lacombe Nursing Home in October, 2002. Fred remained sharp and coherent through to his last days and spent his time reading, playing cards, telling a good joke and Sunday night dinners with his family. Memorial Services will be held at James Reid Funeral Home (900 Counter Street and Highway 2) Kingston, ON on Friday April 23, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held at James Reid Funeral Home on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 10:00 am. Fred will be laid to rest next to his beloved Coe immediately following the funeral services. The family would like to express their complete gratitude to the staff at Father Lacombe Nursing Home for their hard work in helping with the care of Fred.

Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, October 12, 2008, surrounded by her family. The former Rachel Harriet Jamieson, in her 90th years. On Saturday, February 24, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. This artist and former teacher, aged 72, was promoted to a better place. Married for 51 years to Robert Mosier, dear mother of Paul and Lisa Mosier and loving Nana of Meaghan, Leah, Abby and Kate. Sister of Viola Running (Gananoque) and Betty Gordon (Windsor). Friends and family will be welcomed on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). A memorial service will be held at the Cook�s-Portsmouth United Church (200 Norman Rogers Drive) on Wednesday February 28, 2007 at 10:30 am. Donald leaves his dear wife, Carol Elizabeth Doyle after 29 years of marriage. Donald is the beloved son of the late Patrick and Jenny Doyle of Wolfe Island. With remarkable faith, strength, dignity and spirit, Alice passed away peacefully in her 75th year with her immediate family at her bedside on Monday, December 21st, 2009. Loving wife of Joe for 56 years. Adored mother to Wayne (Cindy), Teresa, John (Marg), Steve (Brenda), Patsy (Brian), and Paul-Mike (Nina). Cherished grandmother to Alessia (Marcel), Stacey (Steve), James, Lindsey, Joseph, Jeff, Kevin, Dan, Ally, Ben, Mike, Colin, Shauna, Chris, Kathleen, Natasha and Stefan. Sadly missed great-grandmother to Angel, Mateo, Gabriel, and Brock. Alice was a social worker at Kingston City Hall for 25 years. She played a pivotal and nurturing role in many life experiences for all. She is predeceased by her husband Richard Smitten, her father James Murphy and her step-father, Elmer Kane. Loving daughter to Christina Kane, (Murphy, Zimmerman), her brother Robin Murphy (Judy LaRush); sisters Denise (Don) Wilson (nee Kane); Linda Murphy (nee Kane) (Nolan Pelley). � Mary Agnes Greenwood, 96, passed Monday, April 14, at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had been a resident. Born Nov. 8, 1917, on Wolfe Island, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Robert and Edna O�Brien Watts, she graduated in 1935 from St. Mary�s Catholic School on Wolfe Island. She married Harry J. Greenwood on Feb. 26, 1946, at St. Mary�s Catholic Church on Wolfe Island. The couple resided there until they moved to LaFargeville in 1947. They then purchased a farm in Evans Mills in 1948 which they owned and operated until 1998. Mr. Greenwood passed on Aug. 29, 1998. Following his death she sold the farm and moved to Watertown and resided at Henry Keep Apartments. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Among her survivors are two daughters and a son in law, Sharon A. and Michael O�Donnell, Watertown, Donna C. Moran, Watertown; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A brother, Wilfred Watts and a grandson, Bryan V. Brockway passed before her. Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown. A prayer service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at St. Patrick�s Catholic Church. Burial will take place at a later date at the St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery in Cape Vincent.
