The School Board Office in Kingston has a complete history and pictures of all 3 schools on Howe island, along with their history.

FRONTENAC COUNTY SCHOOL MUSEUM
"Explore the history of early education in Frontenac County through our displays of school artifacts and memorabilia, photographs and textbooks. The Museum has an extensive archives and research collection on the history of the schools in Frontenac County. Visitors can sit in a wooden desk, write on a slate with a slate pencil or browse through an old Ontario reader."
I am happy to announce that the Museum is now up and running once more. The museum is now located in Barriefield just east of Kingston, north of Highway 2 (on the opposite side of Highway 2 is Old Fort Henry) at 414 Regent Street.
There are also new hours. July and August: Tuesday to Friday 9am � 4pm, and Saturday 11am � 3pm. During the rest or the year September � June: Monday and Wednesday 9am -12pm. or by appointment.
