William E. "Bill" Thurman was born 20 March 1898 in Hopkins County, Texas (Probate Birth Vol: 8, p236). He married (1) Millie Lee Fullingim 30 March 1926. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Almer Kelley in the First Baptist Church of Ralls, Crosby County, Texas. (Vol: 2, page:225). Millie Lee Fullingim was the daughter of Horass Edward "Coke" Fullingim and Emma Hunter Spikes. She was born 29 December 1907 in Estacado, Crosby County, Texas (Probate Vol: 17, p. 136) and died 25 May 1976 in the Methodist Hospital in Lubbock County, Texas (obit). Millie is buried in the Petersburg Cemetery in Hale County, Texas.

1. Betty Sue Thurman who was born 12 January 1928 in Quannah, Hardeman County, Texas (Probate birth record). Betty Sue Thurman Crysler died 25 July 1992. Her last residence was listed as Caruthersville, Pemiscot County, Missouri in the Social Security Death Index.

William E. "Bill" Thurman married (2) Marian Broome Kelton 1952. She was the daughter of Claude Broome and Elizabeth Belle Stranahan. Marian was born 06 December 1906 in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas.

William E. "Bill" Thurman died 25 June 1972 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring, Howard County, Texas.

Marian Thurman died April 1980. Her last known address with Social Security was U.S. Consulate - San Jose, Costa Rica. Marian's son by a previous marriage was Horace Broome Kelton who married Margery Jane Mathes, the daughter of George Curtis Mathes. Curtis and Mary Gladys Mathes retired to Escazú, Costa Rica, in 1975. Marian was likely a guest.

Bill and Marian are buried in Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo, Tom Green, Texas in the Broome family plot (Block: 14, Lot: 22)
