Mildred Pearl "Pete" Thurman was born 17 December 1898 near Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas (Probate Births Vol: 20, p. 167). When a young woman, she moved to Dallas, Texas where she attended Kings College. For several years she worked for Seruffs Insurance Company. She left Dallas in 1929 and went to work in Denver, Colorado, Pendleton, Oregon, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Seattle, Washington then on to Calexico and Glendale, California.

She was married to 1) Frank Clemmons 2) Mr. Gardner 1947 - 1952 and 3) William Orien "Bill" Aldrich in 1956 (obit). Bill Aldrich was born 23 December 1899 in Montana.

Bill Aldrich died 22 November 1981 in Chico, Butte County, California.

Mildred Pearl Aldrich died 04 November 1998 in Red Bluff, Tehama County, California. She is buried next to Bill in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Corning, Tahama County, California.
