a celebration to mark the 150th anniversary of the Sinking of the Immigrant
Ship 'MARION' which sank off the now Marion Reef out from Edithburgh on
July 29, 1851.
We are seeking people who had descendants on that ship to get in touch with the Progress Assocn. We are having a weekend of events on the weekend of 29th July 2001 to mark the occasion. It will also be the opening of the new Boat Harbour
and Ramp.
