THE MARK THOMAS DURHAM FAMILY

Mark Thomas Durham and Arminda Jane Hopkins married on August 4,1863. Arminda died in 1912. To them were born twelve children, two of whom died in infancy.

They moved to Texas in 1869 and settled at first between Mart and Riesel, with "a wife, children and a Mexican dollar", as he often expressed it. He later moved to Falls county, then to the western side of Limestone county, accumulating considerable amount of land, where he lived for about 20 years. Mark Thomas Durham died in 1923 in Mart, Texas.
