Tingewick soldiers

Where possible I have provided a link to the appropriate Commonwealth War Grave details. I also hope to add more about the battles the men fought and fell in. I'm also very grateful to his nephew for a transcript of the war diary of Frederick William Miller 1891-1946

A few names from the Great War are omitted from one or other memorial (see table below). It seems likely that those who were omitted from the church memorial were non-conformists, and those who only appear on it were the sons of James Gardner of Grove Hill Farm and were not actually parish residents.
