This letter was written June 28,1985. It reads:
Dear Miss Flora I. King
Enclosed you will find the first issue of a genealogical newsletter whose focus is on the Solomon Gotham Family, ancestors, and grandchildren. Your name was given me by Helen Craig (via Verna McAvoy) who thought you might be interested. The Editor's page will probably answer the questions arising in your mind right now. If you have any in addition to this, please feel free to drop me a line.
Sincerely
Patricia R. James
Editor
Flora shared them with me before she passed away in April, 1996.(Thelma)
NOTE: I changed the way I am adding the Gotham Ties on my site as of the Oct. 1986 Issue. I liked the way I was doing it but it was taking so long to re-size the picture's and type the pages and the important thing is to get them on my site so they are available to other researchers. They are so full of information. If I can ever get to redo them I will. But this way I can get them added in a few days...Thelma
I have finished Volume's one & two and starting on Three
The next few pages had no # or date on them and I added them here until I can find where to put them.
MYSTERY PAGES LEFT FROM GOTHAM TIESThe Genealogy Journal below is another newsletter written by Pat James. This is the only one I have. If anyone has copies of them I will contact Pat for her permission to add them here.
