To all Christian people etc.I, Nicholas Fielden of Shore in Stansfield, yeoman, do make this my last will etc.
My lands I give to Sarah, my wife, one third part during her life, so long as she remains my widow.
I give to John Fielden, my son by my former wife, all that messuage which I now live in, the aforesaid John to pay Margaret Fielden, my daughter by my said second wife, £5 in the year after my son Nicholas, by my now wife Sarah, shall attain the age of 14.
To said Nicholas I leave my lands etc., called “the Shaws,” in Stansfield.
Remainder to daughters Margaret, Mary and Susan Fielden.
The rest to my wife, (until my youngest son is 14), to educate and maintain my children.
Executors James Bancroft or Trawden in county Lancaster, yeoman and William Foster of Worsthorne in said county, smith.
I appoint John Fielden of Hartley Royd, yeoman, supervisor.
