In
addition to our own personal collection, we are proud to be able
to present photographs of Todmorden and Walsden taken from the Alice Longstaff Collection and also from the collection of the
Hebden Bridge Local History Society...
We are also very proud to present the Harry Leah collection. During the 1970's, Harry found dozens of photographs about to be destroyed in a Todmorden house that was being gutted. He was allowed to keep them and they are now owned by his son Tony, who was keen to see them displayed on this website. Many are original and unique, and are a significant addition to the social history of the town.
