I am Charles R. Pace III … Looking for DATA on Martha Hunt that married a Gideon Pace in TN before 1815 Martha Hunt was probably born between 1794 and 1800 based on the Montgomery Co. TN Census- 1820 Census shows MARTHA HUNT PACE as being between 16 and 26 years of age

My Great Great Great Grandfather – Gideon Pace was born in 1784 in NC and migrated to Tn with his Father - William Pace Family Prior to 1810. Gideon wass in the war of 1812

I assume Gideon Married Martha Hunt Prior to 1815 Since her first Child James R. Pace was born in 1815 They had 5 boys and 1 girl at the time of the 1820 TN census . The. -----So in 1820 Martha’s age would have been at LEAST 20 and not more than 26.. This Martha Hunt Pace would have been born between 1794 and 1800

Gideon and his family were living in Haywood Co. TN about 1827 when he was appointed Justice of the Pease. He migrated from Haywood Co. to Texas in 1828

Gideon and Martha migrated to Texas in 1828, Best of family knowledge and records available ---- Their 8 children ( 6 boys and 2 girls ) in 1830 Texas petitioned Austin Colony for land due the PACE Heirs. Texas land Records support that they settled in Texas by 1828. Only other records show that Gideon Pace died of yellow fever on a trip from New Orleans to Texas on Sept 2 1829. 4 of Martha Hunt and Gideon Pace sons fought for Texas at the Battle of San Jacinto and 2 of these fought at the Battle of Bexar as well..

The only Texas record I have found is in a Washington Co. Texas Record of Marriage of a George Looney and Martha Jane Pace in 1836… The could be my Martha Pace since I have found no other Martha Pace’s in Texas during this time --- There are several Mary Ann Paces but they are married about the 1845 time frame and accounted for by other records

There are no known documents to support that Martha Hunt existed.

Thanks for any assistance
