Witnesseth, that whereas the Court of Ordinary of Clinch County did at its regular February term of 1902 duly authorized the said administrator to sell certain real estate of said deceased hereinafter described and whereas the said administrator after advertising said sale in the Clinch County News, a newspaper having a general circulation in the County where said real estate is, once a week for four weeks after the leave was granted and before the sale did expose the same at public auction on the first Tuesday of the month of March 1902 between the legal hours of sale, at the Courthouse door in said County, when the same was then and there knocked off to the said A.R.G. Griffis, as the highest and best bidder at and for the sum of two hundred and eleven dollars ($211.00). Now, therefore, the said administrator, in consideration of the said sum of two hundred and eleven dollars ($211.00) in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, doth sell and convey unto the said A.R.G. Griffis the following real estate to-wit: All of lot of land one hundred and sixty (160) in the 12 District of Clinch County, Georgia, except a square half acre near the northeast corner of said lot, where the graves of the said Benjamin Stalvey and wife are to be in the center of said one square half acre, the turpentine and sawmill privileges are also exempt as contained in deed between the first party and R.G. Dickerson dated March 4, 1900.

To have and to hold said property as fully and completely as same was held by said deceased.
