George W. Morris
George W. Morris was the oldest child of Margaret McCoy Tinney and Alexander Morris. He was born 13 September 1848 . He was married on June 20, 1867, to Margaret Long, a daughter of Joseph B. Long and Emaline McCoy. Margaret Long was born 8 March 1848. Their children were:

Ella Emaline b. 15 December 1884
Margaret Long Morris died 17 February 1887. Margaret was buried in the cemetery at Ft. McKavett. One transcription of her tombstone gives the date of death as 12 Feb 1882. But since she had her last child in 1884, that must be an error.
George W. Morris was married again on 20 August 1889 to Lourene Mitchell. George and Lourene had four children:
Ada Belle b. 19 September 1890 at Sonora, Texas
Ruth b. 22 February 1893 d. 1963
Luther Wilson b. 7 October 1896
Harvey Vernon b. 29 June 1902
George died 24 February 1941 in Sutton County, Texas.
