21. William4 Campy (Elizabeth3 Camp, Thomas2, Thomas1) (#185) was born in Spaldington (ref Bubwith church records), 1840. His body was interred 1919 in Bubwith Church yard.

He married Mary Ann. (Mary Ann is #186.) Mary was born in Easingwold (Ref 1991 census) 1845. William was a grocer in 1881. William is buried in Bubwith with Mary Ann and Fred. The grave inscription reads:-

"Mary Ann beloved wife of William Campy died 24 feb 1917 age 72 fred son of above died 4 sept 1914 Also William 17 May 1919 age 78"

William Campy and Mary Ann had the following children:

child 46 i. Mary Ann5 Campy (#187) was born in Castleford (ref 1881 census), 1868.

child 47 ii. John William Campy (#188) was born in Castleford (ref 1881 census), 1870.

child 48 iii. Robert Henry Campy (#189) was born in Castleford (ref 1881 census), 1873.

 Robert was convicted in 1890, of riding on the shafts of his wagon, without reins! He was fined 2s 6d plus costs. He was a grocers assistant at the time.

child 49 iv. Frances Campy (#190) was born in Castleford (ref 1881 census), 1875.

child 50 v. Elizabeth Campy (#191) was born in Castleford (ref 1881 census), 1877.

child 51 vi. Fred Campy (#193) was born in Castleford (ref 1881 census), 1881.

child 52 vii. Maggie Campy (#194) was born in Castleford, 1883. She married James Edward Gibb Bubwith, 1903. (James Edward Gibb is #196.)

child 53 viii. Charlotte Campy (#195) was born in Castleford, 1886. She married Oswold Aske in Bubwith (ref parish records), 1907. (Oswold Aske is #197.)

child 54 ix. Lilly Campy (#192) was born in Castleford (ref 1881 census), 1888.
