Alma (Trotter) Suttles

Mrs. Alma Trotter Pace Suttles of  200 Glass Street, Sans Souci,
widow of J. R. Suttles, died Sunday morning following three months of
declining health. She was a native of Pickens County and was a daughter of
the late Arthur and Ida Porter Trotter.
She had made her home in Greenville for many years and before her
retirement was owner and operator of Johnnie-Burger Drive In Restaurant on
Buncombe Road. She was of the Baptist faith.
Her husband, the late J. R. Suttles, died May 29, 1966.
Surviving are her son, Arthur M. Pace of Greenville; five sisters, Mrs. Beulah Daves,
Mrs. Marguette Chapman and Mrs. Ida Mae Grant, all of Pickens, Mrs. Theryl Daniel
of Greenville and Miss Irma Trotter of Clinton; two brothers, Dwight Trotter of Pickens
and Rudolph Trotter of Oklahoma City, Okla; her stepmother, Mrs. Elsie Trotter of
Liberty; and three grandchildren, William Steven Pace, Michelle D. Pace and Kristina K. Pace.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Thomas McAfee
Funeral Home by Rev. Lloyd Looper.
Interment will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley.
The family is at the home of her son, Arthur M. Pace, and will receive friends from 7 until 8:30
p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
