England Lloyd Galloway (husband of Jessie Trotter)

Retired Major England Lloyd Galloway, 85, died Jan. 31, 1997, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.

born in Rosman, N.C., he was the son of the late Zebulon Vance and Martha Louise Cantrell Galloway.

He retired from the UlS. army after 25 years of service including World War II and the Korean War. He received many decorations including the French Fourragere.

He was a member of Crosswell Baptist Church and a charter member of the Retired Officers Association, Greenville Chapter.

Surviving are his wife, Jessie Trotter Galloway of the home; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeased by five brothers and four sisters.

Omit flowers. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Pickens County Division, 211 S. First St, Easley, S.C.  29640.

Graveside services: 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Woodlawn Memorial Park, section P. in Greeville conducted by Captain Land with full miltary rites.

Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home in Easley.

Family members are at their respective homes.
