I am sorry I have not gotten more done on this site than I already have. Please give me a little more time.
If you do not mind, "PLEASE" scroll down and sign my guestbook!!!
I have several books pertaining to the Truax family and several pictures. I also have other booklets of people who are connected to the Truax line. I am creating WebPages for them and hope to get them here very soon. I am currently working on a booklet from my mother's side of the family "The History of the Flitcraft Family". I also have a booklet on the Fruits Line and also the Downing Line. I hope to get them copied sometime in the near furture in hope they will aid someone with their own family tree.
So, as I am able, I will be adding a lot more to this site.
(Special note: When I first started my family tree I was contacted by individuals wanting to know if I had any information on a sibling in my direct line or information of a family who had someone marry into my line. So I decided to include anyone that connected to my line in my data. (Example: I have added the ancestors and their descendants of spouses that had married into the line. I have done this in hope that it will help someone and I have also learned more about my direct line by including the extra data.) If you have any information that connects in anyway to the data on this site and want to share it with others please let me know. Also let me know if you have a site and want me to link it here.
I am directly connected to the following family names via my parents: Truax, Gibson, Warren, Flitcraft, Fruits and Keys.
I have uploaded my ged file to the net and you can view it at the link below. In the note fields of several people. You can view some of the text from some of the books I have. Our Family Ties
A tracing of the Family of Phillipe Du Trieux, born about 1582 in the town of Roubaix, France. Roubaix is a nothrern town in the region of the Province of Hainaut, Belgium. This tracing of the family deals almost exclusively with the direct line leading downward in time to the Truax family. I am trying to include all families connected with the Du Trieux family here on this site too.
* Spelling: In New Amsterdam, the Dutch record usually used "De Truy." In one instance, the name was spelled "De Trou." With the coming of the English to the Mid_Atlantic region, the name was altered to either "Traux", "Trueax" or "Truex". The Pennsylvania Archives records with several spellings of the name also contain: "Thrax", "Troax", "Trucox", "Truix", and "Trewex". Because of illiteracy of citizens and public and military officials, the name has been recored with numberous misspellings in the 1700's.

I recently received a booklet about the Flitcraft line. I was so excited to finally know who my Ancestors were in this family. Before getting the booklet I only knew who my grandmother was in this line. Now I know alot about her family. If you have any information you would like to add or if you are connected to the Flitcraft family "PLEASE" contact me. I have copied and updated my family into the booklet and you can view it. I have also added links in some of the pages to pictures of individuals.
