The Society is for researching ancestors, descendants and collateral descendants of Dr. Thomas Wynne his first wife Martha Buttall and 2nd wife Elizabeth Croyley Rowden Maud Wynne.The Society was created June 10, 2001 after the "3rd Annual Wynne Genealogy Reunion" in Philadelphia, PA. The descendants of Dr. Thomas Wynne hold a yearly reunion for expanding our research and sharing information. The reunion also provides a forum for discussions on issues related to the genealogy research. Dr. Thomas Wynne was born July 20, 1627 in Bron Fadoc (Estate), Caerwys (Twp.), Ysceifiog (Parish), Flintshire (Cty.), North Wales and died March 16, 1691/92 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Cty., PA. He married his first wife 1655, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales she was Martha Elizabeth Buttall born 1627, Clwyd, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales and died Bet. June - July 1676 Wales. He married his second wife July 20, 1676 Rainhill, Lancashire, England she was Elizabeth Croyley Rowden Maud Wynne born 1637, Rainhill, Lancashire, England and died Aft. March 17, 1692/93 in the United States. This year the "6th Annual Wynne Genealogy Reunion" will be held in Chester Cty., PA.
