Welcome to this web page of information about Tullis genealogy! I hope to make this a repository for information about any of our Tullis ancestors that other family tree researchers might find interesting or useful. Examples include compiled genealogies, obituaries, Bible records, census records, photos, etc.

Moses Tullis Will by Tom Tullis
Scanned image of the will of Moses Tullis who was probably born about 1720/30 in New Jersey. He wrote the will on June 10, 1777, in Berkeley Co., Virginia. The will was proved by two of the witnesses on October 21, 1777. Also see my transcription of the will.

Family Bible of Moses Tullis (1779) and Polly Blalock by Tom Tullis
Scanned images of the genealogical data in the Family Bible. Records 13 births, 7 marriages, and 6 deaths. Moses was born in 1779 (grandson of Moses Tullis of New Jersey, above) and Polley was born in 1783. The family lived mainly in Edgefield District, South Carolina, and in Marion County, Georgia.
