Know all men by these presents, I Ebenzr Sturgis of Elizabeth Town in County of York in the Province of East Jersey for the Consideration of fifty pounds current money of New England by me already rec'd of William Yarns of Fairfield in the County of Fairfield & Colony of Connecticut do grant sell convey makeover Confirm unto the said William Yarns & To his heirs & assigns forever a certain parcell of Land Lying in said Fairfield & it is part of the Swamp called & known by the name of Burr's Swamp & it is in quantity three acres ? by the same more or less, bound North Easterly by Comon Land North ? part by the Common and part by the Land of said Yarns South Easterly by part of the said Swamp ?? -belonging to Sam Barlow of ? of said Fairfield. South Westerly by part of the Swamp belonging to Elnathan Sturgis in part and in part by said Yearns Land together with all the privileges & appurtnences thereunto To Have & To Hold the above granted & bargained premises with the appurtenances to belonging unto him, the said Willm Yearns his heirs & assigns forever for his & then only inso ?? & ? and also I the said Ebenzr Sturgis do for myself & my heirs & assigns ? with the said Willm Yarnes his heirs & assigns? & untill the ? these presents I am ? of the premises in a ? indisposable estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain & Sell the Same in manner & form as is above written and ? the same is free of all incumbrances Whatsoever & Furthermore I the said Ebenzr Sturgis do by these presents binde my self & my heirs forever to warrant & do ? the above granted & bargained premises with appurtenances to him the said Willm Yarns his heirs & assigns agst all claims & demands Whatsoever. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this sixth day of April 1733.
