Welcome, these web pages are about my biggest interest and hobbies in life which is my family and genealogy. These pages are basically about genealogy and is associated with Grundy County, Tennessee and People who have roots that stem from there. Grundy County borders beautiful East Tennessee and the Appalachian Mountains with their rich setting of cathedral forest, natural wooded streams, majestic waterfalls, a magnificent state park, "Fall Creek Falls State Park" and many natural wildlife areas. Even today many parts of it remains unexplored by man or at the very least few and far between. It is a place of transcendental beauty that will take you through portals into other dimensions and memories.. away from the pre-occupations of the hustle & bustle of the everyday rat-race, one can experience a shift in consciousness and transcend an inner connection to the divine through a process of clearing and opening up to the perception of the mysterious coincidences of natures beauty when hiking its wilds.

These pages are devoted to my family, the great outdoors and my ancestors, many of who have gone on to the great beyond. I have spent a lot of time researching the past in my quest of relatives . In so doing I have un-earthed more than just names, I discovered who they were. Along the way I have picked up a lot more than just the names of people. I discovered how they lived as well as how many of them died. Many of them made a better way of life for others in their struggles to survive. They were travelers in time. In my research I have traveled along side them, sharing the hardships and joys that they endured along the way. Each name has its own story to tell. I often, in silent meditation, give thanks for their endurance. The information in my family trees has been researched and collected by Myself along with the help of Mike Brown and many others that took the time to endure the interrogations.
Many long hours and a lot of miles have gone into my collection of records in order to preserve and keep them for my descendants and for other family members that may have an interest in knowing where their roots originate. May the ones that are gone never be forgotten, because a person dies three deaths, the first, which we all must face, is when we leave our mortal bodies to go to a better place, the second is when all trace of what we did while upon this earth has perished, be it good or bad and the third and final death is when we are gone from the hearts of all those left behind and our name is never uttered again.
To live in the hearts of those we leave behind, is not to die.
