 Well,
I see that you have decided to enter. My name is Tomit and I am
the Castellan here at Clouser Castle. I would be glad to give you
any information, arrange a tour, or give you directions to one of
the many rooms.
Before you begin your exploration, I would like
to give you a basic description of each of the rooms found here
in the castle. Here on the main floor we have the Lounge,
Library, Hall
of Scribes, Great
Hall, Hall of
Mentors, Gallery,
and the King's Study.
You may visit any room (although the King may not be in his study)
at any time. At the bottom is a map showing the layout of the castle
with each room labelled. You may also click on the navigation to
the left to get to one of the main areas of the castle. Outside
the main castle but within the walls of the estate is the Inner
Courtyard. Here you may connect to the family trees and the
submitted Family Group Sheets. Outside the main castle walls you
can travel to the Great
Forest where you can find the other family trees of the King
and His Queen.
To your immediate right is the Lounge.
Here you may talk with other visitors by posting a message, query,
or general comments. There is also a bulletin board available where
the scribes post new items recently added to the site and any news
or events worthy of attention. The GuestBook and a GuestMap are
also located in the Lounge.
Beside the Lounge is the Library.
The Library is the largest part of the castle spanning three stories.
The King anticipates this room needing to be very large as himself
and others add to the collections located there. Some of the items
you will find in the library are:
The Hall next to the Library is the Hall
of Scribes. There you will find a list of people researching
the surname CLOUSER and its variant spellings who have submitted
data to this site. You may also fill out a Family Group Sheet form
to be added to the ever expanding CLOUSER family tree. Other forms
located here are the Military Service Form and the Obituary Submission
Form.
Directly behind me is the Great
Hall. This is the location of all the storytellers of the CLOUSER
name. If you have a story to tell, simply submit it to the scribes
and it will be added to the stories located in the Great Hall.
To my right, your immediate left, is the King's
Study. This is where the King comes to visit and view the progress
of the Castle construction and approve the addition of the items
submitted by you the visitors. You may read a letter from the King
that gives you some information about him.
Next to the King's Study is the Gallery.
This room is devoted to the exhibition of family and individual
photographs, headstones, along with the awards won by the site.
The Hall
of Mentors is located down the hall between the Gallery and
the Great Hall. In the Hall of Mentors you will find help in your
own research. The duty Mentor will also give you links to sites
dedicated to education and learning genealogy or family history.
