EXTRACTION
of the
Protocol
of the
Community Convention
of
May 20, 1883

GERMAN EVANGELICALPROTESTANT CHURCH

Agreed, that the registered Constitution within this book is considered to be the only true one, and only he shall be a fully authorized member of this Community who has accepted this Constitution by his own signature.

Supplement of Art. 7 agreed by the Community on September 27, 1891

However, all those who do not perform their duties entirely but help partially that is

1. contribute to the livelihood of the preacher and support to the administration of the Community, and declare this by their own signature;

2. possibly are true attendants of the services, and

3. who do not live in conflict with the Lord’s Word

may like the fully entitled members of the Community demand for the service of the preacher, and may also make use of the church in case of death ceremonies etc. Unmarried children still living in their parents’ house may claim the rights of their parents as well. However, they are expected to contribute to the church corresponding to their own property.
