Obit for Carl Frost of Plessis, N. Y.
Unidentified newsclipping -- possibly November 3, 1908

Carl Frost

"Carl, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Frost, entered into rest eternal from his home Wednesday morning, December 2. The deceased had been for months going down from tuberculosis, which followed measels nearly two years ago. He had a clerkship in Watertown and he vainly tried to keep up work. When he found he could not follow his indoor occupation he tried various outdoor pursuits and spent considerable time in the Adirondacks. Since August he has been at his home at Browns Corners. All that affection could prompt one to do for a loved friend was done, the parents taking the entire care of Carl. He died with a bright hope of immortality. Besides his parents is survived by one brother and one sister, Guy and Miss May Frost. To the family we would give our sincere sympathy in their loss. The funeral was held from the house Saturday afternoon. Rev. N.A. Darling preached the funeral sermon to a large congregation. Internment was made in Plessis cemetery. The fellow clerk of the deceased sent a handsome floral piece. Frank Dickhaut and wife also contributed a piece and the neighbors gave flowers. All of these have the thanks of the family. Friends and acquaintances from Watertown and other places were in attendance at the obsequies. And this is closed the page of this young man's life, but his influence will live.!"

Note: It is believed the parents’ names were: Edison (or Edson) & Eva Hoyt Frost
