The people pictured on this page are related in some way to Meredith KNIGHTING (1809-1889) and Malinda Jane McDANIEL (1819-1912), who were married in Rockingham County, Virginia, in 1838. Some members of their family lived in Rockingham County, and others lived in Madison County, Virginia. (Malinda Jane McDANIEL was a daughter of my ancestor, Zachariah McDANIEL.)
