This is a wonderful article
about Cradock printed in the Jun 29, 1919 issue of The New York

excellent.

Cradock was established in 1918.
This census contains the names of some of the first families to live in the new
development.
If the Navy Yard brought your family to the Portsmouth, Virginia
area, you may find them in this census.
This site covers the Cradock area only. There are many other areas where
they could have lived. Consult the original census also.
