The small, two-room museum is located in the former town office building
on Main Street. There are archives from Derby Academy and material relating
to the history of the town. Contact Person: Bill Gardyne, President. Hours
and Admission: by appointment. Free. Not accessible to the disabled.

The international border between the United States and Canada runs
through the middle of this neoclassical 1901 building. A small collection
of dishes is in the library, while the opera house upstairs is a replica
of the Old Boston Opera House and is still in use in the summer. There
are elaborate interiors upstairs and down.Contact Person: Kim Prangley,
Librarian Hours and Admission: Tues and Wed, 10am – 5pm; Thurs, 1 – 8pm;
Fri and Sat, 1 – 5pm. The library is accessible to the disabled. The opera
house is not.
