Archer, Pierce – This is the Return of
Death record of Pierce Archer, my third great grandfather, who died on March
17, 1880 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He died of pneumonia of the right lung and was buried at New Cathedral
Cemetery in Philadelphia. The record
indicates that he was ninety-six years old at the time of his death and that he
was born in Ireland. While there are
several documents that indicate he was born in Ireland, an exact birth date has
not been determined to date.
Biggs,
Margaret – This is the Return of Death record of Margaret Biggs, my third
great grandmother, who died February 6, 1862 in Philadelphia. She apparently died suddenly and was buried
at Mechanics Cemetery. The record
indicates that she was born on a ship traveling over the Atlantic Ocean while
on route from England.
