1.Susan Speake: Susan is my gg-grandmother. She was born 1852-1854 in Kentucky. I am trying to find out who her parents are. I believe her parents to be Francis and Mary Speake from Kentucky but I can't prove it. She married Gideon Vinson 1870 in Bell County, Texas. She is in the Smith County, Texas census 1880. She has four children. I can't find her before 1870 or after 1880. Can anyone help!

UPDATE

I have finally recieved confirmation that Francis Speake and Mary Hunter are Susan Speake's parents. I received a list of births from The Kentucky Historical Society that list her birth May 6,1852. This has long been a brickwall for me so I was very excited to get this information.

2.William Chambers: William is my ggg-grandfather. I am trying to find info about William's parents and siblings. William was born 1836 in Dothan, Henry County, Alabama. He came to Texas(according to his pension application)1846. I have been told he didn't come with his parents. I don't know how he got here. In 1864 he married Clara Anderson in Panola County, Texas and they had nine children. Does anyone know anything about this William?
