FROM THE 60TH OHIO

The 60th did not arrive last week, as expected, and has not arrived up to this writing, (Wednesday afternoon.) Col. Trimble arrived at home on Tuesday night, from Washington City. We are informed that he received a dispatch at Cincinnati or Columbus, from Chicago, stating that the regiment would be paid off on Tuesday or Wednesday, and would be home tomorrow or Friday night, at farthest. There have been so many reports of their coming, that we do not know what to believe, but we hope this last report may be true.

In another column we copy an article from the Chicago Tribune, which pays a just tribute to the gallant men of the 60th, and censures the authorities for the bad treatment they have received.
