David Ayers

David Ayers

David Ayers was the son of James Martin Ayers, Jr. and Jane Richey. He entered into service February 22, 1864 when he was 29 years old. He served in the Civil War as a Corporal with Company I of the 60th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and was discharged May 30, 1865 at Columbus, Ohio by order of the War Department. It appears that this photograph was taken after the Civil War and before he died in 1896.
