Scottish Shortbread


2-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter (do not substitute margarine)

Cream the above ingredients. Pound mixture into two 9" round pans. Mixture will have a flaky consistency. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Mixture should turn a golden-brown color without burning the edges. Watch carefully.
