Adelaide Berg and her husband Sydney moved from base to base as Sydney followed his career in the Air Force. He was a paratrooper. His military training made him a tough disciplarian. All their sons have had military careers. When Sydney retired from the Air Force, they moved to Fayetteville, Georgia where he became an air traffice controller at Atlanta's Hartsfield Air Terminal. After Sydney's death in 1988, Adelaide continued to make her home in Fayetteville. Her life's interest lies with her children and grandchildren.
