Miller GenealogyUnder ConstructionMy Census Files - a listing of pdf files is located at this url. You will have to choose the pdf file you would like to view which is located under the list of surnames. Then choose the file to download by copying the file name and placing it AFTER the END of this exact URL http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~washingtonparish/blog/genealogy_html/census/ So if the file name is, fleetmiller_1920.pdf , place this name after the end of the URL to download the file.Fleet R. Miller and William MillerNeighbors, Mount Hermon Road, Washington Parish, Louisiana 1910This Washington Parish, Mount Hermon Road, 1910 Census was taken by Thomas E. Foil in May of 1910. Here is an image of the 1910 Census showing the household of Fleet R. Miller residing, Washington Parish Louisiana, Mt. Hermon Rd. They lived next door to William Miller in his early 60's who had a boarder living with him named Robert Phillipps, a "Michagan" born painter. I can't help but enjoy the spelling from Mr. Foil. How many people from Michigan were actually living in Washington Parish in 1910 anyway? I wonder who Phillips worked for and what did he paint? A house? A barn? A livingroom?Era Leader October 9, 1969 Fleet M. Miller or Fleet W. Miller? This census indicates that the Father, Fleet M. Miller, was born in Mississippi and the FATHERS father was born in Tennessee. Who is Smiley Miller? The joke I think was on the census taker, John Ard for this Washington Parish 1880 Louisiana Census record. There are several images of this census record enlarged for page viewing. All images are of the same page. I've never heard of a "Smiley Miller". I don't recall seeing a Miller who did not SMILE, either. The 1850 Warren County, MS Census lists a 27 yo Prof. of Music named, F. W. Miller born in Germany. Another Miller, Charles Miller is listed in this census URL from Warren County, Mississippi 1820.
Thomas James MillerThe Thomas James Miller family includes 22 natural children, 3 step-children, and 3 wives. The following surnames appear in this genealogy:GINN Conflicts in Miller Family GenealogyMillerFamily.pdf (FROM Knight Family) AND Thomas James MillerThomas James Miller is labeled "Thompson Miller" in Knight Family Miller genealogy papers. Knight Family also indicates that "Thompson Miller" born abt. 1790 in GEORGIA with same marriage "Clara Ginn". Knight family shows Clara Ginn lineage. Also Clara Ginn born abt. 1805 South Carolina (Knight family Miller genealogy) First wife of Thomas James Miller, Clara Ginn family is indicated in Knight Family papers (MillerFamily.pdf) BUT Thomas James Miller is aka "Thompson Miller" with same marriage of Clara Ginn and COLLECTIVE children of the 3 WIVES of Thomas or Thompson Miller. Knight family does not specify the marriages (3) of Thomas James Miller and places ALL children of Clara Ginn as follows. There were *three children listed that *we do not have in the Tona Miller Morris - Thomas James Miller Part I genealogy and TWO that we DO have:
ALSO: Dates of death for Smantha *K. or "Samantha K. Miller" AND NAME conflict from the Knight Family Miller genealogy lists her death and middle name differently BUT MARRIAGE IS SAME. This should be easy to confirm death date from cemetery headstone at WALLACE BURCH CEMETERY, Washington Parish, LA. With luck the middle initial of Smantha will be listed on headstone too!: (Samantha *Ann Miller, born 1-5-1842, died 11-11-1925, married Frank M. Burch, Sr., born 10-1-1840, died 12-31-1912. Both are buried in the Wallace Burch Cemetery in Washington Parish.) - cited by Knight Family MillerFamily.pdf
