Aletha was born, in Pontiac, on Aug. 29, 1925, to Percy and Irene (Bunert) Smith. On Feb. 18, 1950, in Pontiac, she married Clarence T. Zenner, who preceded her death in 1996. Mrs. Zenner graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1943. She had previously been employed by Michigan Bell Telephone and Active Mobile Homes. Althea is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Dan) Prevo of Traverse City and Sanibel, Fla.; son, Robert (Kathryn) Zenner of Naperville, Ill.; five grandchildren, Michael (Nicole) Prevo of Royal Oak, Aaron (Andra) Prevo of Layton, Utah, Aimee (John) Lintner of Cedar Springs, Megan Prevo of Lansing and Jeremiah (Jennifer) Wilson of Naperville, Ill.; five great-grandchildren, Emma, Alexander, Meredith, Elliot and Addison; and several nieces and cousins. Her husband, Clarence; parents, Percy and Irene; brother, Leon; and niece, Karen preceded her in death. Visitation will take place at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City on Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial gifts may be sent to the Michigan Heart Association or Munson Medical Center.
