Hans Jerg Brust lived in Bittenfeld, Germany. This report covers mostly their son, Hans Jerg Brust and his wives Catherine Nehm and Anna Maria Netter, and their lives in Poppenweiler, Ludwigs District. Hans Jerg and Anna Maria had a son, Johann Jacob Brust who was to come to America 17 April 1750, after the death of his father.

They settled in Brunswick Center, Renssellaer County, New York.
