LARRIMER - GAULT - NEILSON - PICKENS - DAVIS - BARNET - DRENNON

Pages 118-120. William Gault of Craven County, S. C., Waxhaw Settlement, planter, conveys to Thomas Neilson of the same county and state, for 100 pounds of good and lawful money, 96 acres on both sides of Camp Creek on the east side of the Cataba River in the Waxhaw Settlement, being part of a tract granted to James Larrimer by North Carolina 17 May 1754, containing 418 acres, which since the boundary line was run hath fallen into South Carolina, which 418 acres James Larrimer sold to Andrew Pickens, which sd Piokens sold to William Davis 268 acres of said tract, Wm Davis sold to Joseph Barnet the said tract, the said Joseph Barnet sold to David Drennon 96 acres of the 268 acres, which said Drennon sold to Joseph Gault, and he the said (Joseph) Gault sold the said plantation to William Gault the present seller. 16 Sept. 1779.

LINN - MONTGOMERY - WELLS - ROWAN

Pages 147-148. William Montgomery of Craven County, S. C., Yeoman, conveys to Thomas Wells of the county and state aforesaid in Camden District, Blacksmith, for one certain grey gelding, a tract containing 11 acres, one rod, and 24 poles, in the Waxhaw Settlement on the north side of Camp Creek, it being part of a tract granted unto John Linn by the Well beloved Matthew Rowan Esqr, President in the Council & Commander in Chief in and over the Province of North Carolina, but since the boundary hath been run it hath fallen into the South (Carolina), (the grant) bearing date 17 May 1754, containing 302 acres, which was conveyed 10 Jan. 1757 by John Linn unto Hugh Montgomery, part of which land the said Hugh Montgomery in his will did bequeath unto the said William Montgomery. 22 Oct. 1785.

LOCKHART - ROWAN - CRAWFORD - TOMLINSON - WHITE

Pages 88-89. 27 July 1784. Thomas Crawford of Camden District, S. C., conveys to Nathaniel Tomlinson of the same district and state, for 7 pounds like money of South Carolina a tract containing 23 acres in the Waxhaw settlement, part of a tract containing 491 acres that fell to the said Crawford by the death of his father James Crawford, the said tract containing 145 acres of land from Stephen White (sic), the said tract of 23 acres adjoining the said Tomlinson's line, Robert Lockhart's line; a part of a tract of 491 acres granted to Stephen White in 1754 by Gov. Matthew Rowan of North Carolina.

LOCKHART - TOMLINSON - CRAWFORD - WREN - CROCKET - WHITE - McCULLAH - McCULLOCH

Pages 86-87. 22 Nov. 1784. Thomas Crawford of Camden District, S. C., conveys to William Wren for 150 pounds sterling a tract of 110 acres on the North side of the Waxhaw Creek, originally granted to Joseph Crawford, joining Archibald Crockets land, including an improvement, joining Robert Crawford's land, also a tract of 17 acres joining the aforesaid tract, it being a part of a tract originally granted to Stephen White and conveyed by White to Isaac McCullah, and conveyed by sd McCullah to Jos. McCulloch, and from sd Jos. McCulloch to James (sic) Crawford, bounded on west by aforesaid land, on the north by Robert Lockhart's land, on the east by Nathaniel Tomlinson's land, on the south by Tomlinson's land.

LYON - PATTON

Pages 89-90. 7 July 1776. William Patton and Elizabeth his wife of the Province of South Carolina and County of Craven in St. Marks Parish convey to Nathaniel Lyon of the same, for 85 pounds money of the Province, a tract containing 170 acres in the Waxhaw Settlement between the Waxhaw and Twelve Mile Creeks.
