Dec.1st, 1916  Agnes daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hawk 6 years, clothing ignited at Bon fire.
Dec.2nd, 1916   Owen Walters of Audenreid,29 years, fell into an excavation.
Dec.16th, 1916   Mrs. Mary Chewitzman  of Wilkes-Barre, clothing ignited at a stove.
Dec.16th, 1916 Joanna, daughter of  Mr .and Mrs. William Gillis of Duryea, clothing ignited from burning paper.
Dec.18th, 1916 John Narzun of Nanticoke, fell down stairs.
Dec.21st, 1916 Harry Williams of Tunkhannock, fell from a telegraph pole at Coxton.
Dec.24th, 1916 Charles B.Castner, 31 years, of Plymouth, slipped on rock and fell.

Jan.5th, 1917 Thomas Mahedy, 60 years, of Wilkes-Barre, struck  by automobile.
Jan.9th Thomas Berry, 74 years  automobile accident.
Jan.11th Edward O’Hare  of Plymouth   suffocated by sulphur fumes on a Culm bank.
Jan.12th Joseph Naus,23 years, of Hazleton fell from his wagon.
Jan.13th   Frank Grimes,28 years, of Hudson skull fractured by a fall.
Jan. 18th Benjamin Sims, 50 years, of St. Johns while loading lumber.
Jan 25th Florence Kirshner,2 years of Midvale daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe, of burns sustained by spilling 
a pot of coffee.
Feb.7th Guitano  Picharello of Pittston, overcome by the gas from a furnace.
Feb.7th Mary Kovich,3 years, of Hazleton, fell into a tub of scalding water.
Feb.7th George Dettmore, 34 years, of Dettmore, buried under live coals at the steam heat plant.
Feb.13th Theda Manalas,2 years, of Plymouth, fell into a tub of scalding water.
Feb.15th  Adam Gezegriecki,53 years, of Pittston, fell down stairs.
Feb.19th Mrs. Michael Yenchick of Midvale, clothing ignited while thawing out a frozen pipe.
Feb.18th   Michael Kotchasko of Sandy run, struck by a automobile.
Mar.3rd Henry T.Murry,38 years, principal of Askam school, by the explosion of a steamer tank used to thaw out
 a frozen pipe.
Mar.16th Clara,5 years,daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Boyle of Georgetown, struck by a street car.
Mar.19th Mrs. Max Harrington, 29 years, of Wilkes-Barre, of injuries sustained by falling while hanging up 
clothes.
Mar.19th   John J.Murphy, 49 years of  Mountain Top, of injuries sustained by being kicked by a horse.
Mar.22nd Mrs.Matthew  Mildish  of Hazleton, clothing ignited by a kerosene lamp.
Mar.22nd John Pettitt of Hazleton, burned to death in a fire.
Mar.23rd James  Green, struck by an automobile in Wilkes-Barre.
Mar.28th   Albert  Fikes of  Larksville, struck by a street car. 
Mar.31st Mrs. Elizabeth Millheim,88 years, of Luzerne Borough ,of injuries sustained by falling down stairs.
Apr.5th George Elmy,61 years,of Askam, by a charge of dynamite used for uprooting tree stumps.
Apr.14th Joseph Meslevitch,16 years,of Edwardsville, electrocuted by coming in contact with a live wire.
Apr.15th Francis Henninghan, a child of  Inkerman, inhaled flame when clothing was ignited while playing in 
the kitchen.
Apr.21st Nicholas Dallinatis,5 of Wilkes-Barre, struck by a automobile.
Apr.26th Mrs. Thomas Tokas,58 of Plymouth struck by a mine car while picking coal.
Apr.28th John, 11 son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Glace of West Hazleton struck by a automobile.
May 4th   Frank Lehofski, 40 years, of Plains run over by a street car.
May 10th   Clayton Siter,11years, of White Haven struck by a automobile.
May 11th   David , 14 son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mathews of Midvale, fell from a concrete mixer.
May 19th   Joseph and Anthony Kollander,   aged 12 years, and John Burke, aged 12 years, all of Avoca, drowned
 in a reservoir by the upsetting of a raft with which they were playing.
May 20th   William E. Phillips, of Wilkes-Barre, aged about 30 years, struck by a Laurel Line car.
May 21st Mrs. John Gregorski, fell under a Laurel Line car at the South Avoca station.
May 26th William McDermott, 46 years, of Sugar notch, electrocuted while trying to save a fellow workman.
May 26th  Three children of James Nardo of West Pittston, burned to death in their home after futile attempts 
to rescue them.
June 3rd Anthony Samonsky, 23 years, of Exeter Borough, injuries sustained by falling from a trolley car.
June 11th   Dorothy, daughter of Mr .and Mrs. Authur Rogers of Plymouth 7 years, struck by a automobile.
June 22nd Mrs. Jennie   Donahoe of Pittston, 50 years, clothing ignited from a fire in the yard.
July 1st    Mrs. Veronica  Tushkar, thrown   from the side car of a motorcycle at   Duryea.
July 2nd Andrew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wasil Cundar of Hanover,4 years, run over by a street car.
July 3rd Stanley Stankewicz of Pittston, drowned while fishing at Falling Springs, the boat capsizing.
July 6th Frances C. Eley, 2 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph C. Eley,  killed in a collision between a
 trolley car and aautomobile at  Fernbrook.
July 16th Edward Harnon of Plains, 12 years, drowned in a mine cave hole while swimming.
July 17th William Bittner of Plymouth, 40 years, run over by a Trolley car
July 17th Lee F. Gill of Wilkes-Barre, 20 years, drowned in the river while bathing.
July 22nd George Isaacs of Wilkes-Barre, 22 years, drowned in the river while bathing.
July 22nd Helen   Hadola of Warrior Run, 5 years, struck by an automobile.
July 22nd Augustono Callabro, 33 years, fell out of a window at Pittston.
July 25th Miss Ethel wood of Danville, 20 years, caught under an overturned automobile at Harveys Lake.
July 24th Paul Promick, Dupont, 7 years, struck by rope.
July 26th John Belek of Larksville, 16 years, drowned in the river bathing.
July 26th Alexander Chicercoski of Miners Mills, 2 years, scalded with hot water.
July 30th   Harry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Titus of Shickshinny ,drowned in the river while bathing.
July 30th John Petrucki of McAdoo,13 years, electrocuted by an electric wire.
Aug.1st John Fillplak of Nanticoke,8 years, drowned in the river while bathing.
Aug.1st Frank Grobinski of Nanticoke, 16 years, drowned while trying to rescue a companion bather in the river.
Aug.5th Anthony Lukaski of White Haven, 29 years, drowned in the Lehigh River while bathing.
Aug.7th Joseph Winsloski of West Hazleton, 6 years, fell from a park swing into a dam and was drowned.
Aug.10th   James McDonnell of Pittston, drowned in the river after jumping from a bridge to demonstrate his 
skill.
Aug 10th   Michael Dougherty of   Plains, 32 years, boat capsized while working on a ferry at Retreat.
Aug.15th Thomas W.Davis,61 years, dies at west side hospital of injuries sustained by falling from a porch.
Aug.16th   Mary   Myereski  of  Duryea, 10 years, drowned in the Lackawanna river by sliding into the water 
over a stone.
Aug.20th Andrew Loporchwich   of Brookside, 41 years, fell down stairs and broke his neck.
Aug 23rd Michael Salick   of Brookside, 9 years, struck by a strip of cars while playing in a colliery yard.
Sept.2nd Joseph, son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Boyle of East End, 11 years, run over by a street car.
Sept.6th  Mrs. Daniel O.Culver of near Orange accidentally killed by the discharge of a gun. 
Sept.10th Victoria, daughter of Mr.and Mrs.John Undorf of Plymouth,13 years, drowned in the river while 
playing on a barge.
Sept.19th Charles Esbacher of Scranton, killed by an automobile striking a telegraph pole near Hazleton.
Sept.23rd Stanley Volaskey, Phebian Stanislaw, and Stanley Mikesco of Wilkes-Barre township, killed by a train
 striking their automobile at Glen Summit.
Sept.28th Mrs.F.W.Roberts of Plymouth, thrown out of a automobile.
Sept.28th Walter Giddish of Wilkes-Barre, 10 years, smothered in a sand pile.
Oct.3rd William Hoch of  near Wapwallopen, 67 years, thrown from his wagon in a runway.
Oct 8th Anthony Makowski of Plains, 6 years, clothing ignited from a bon fire.
Oct.15th Mrs.Anna Kravchek of Brookside struck by an automobile.
Oct.21st John W.Jones of Plymouth,34 years, electrocuted by a live wire while at work.
Oct.25th Peter Grogulski of Ashley, 8 years, struck by an automobile.
Oct.25th Mary Petcavage of Sugar notch,5 years, of burns sustained at a bon fire.
Oct.27th Mrs.Mary Wyanbelage of Wilkes-Barre ,28 years,of burns sustained by leaning over a fire ignited to 
scorch feathers on a chicken.
Oct.27th Milton Cook of Plymouth, about 60 years,run over by a motor truck.
Oct.28th   Stanley Shuper of Wilkes-Barre, 45 years, fell on broken glass and sustained fatal cuts.
Andrew Robinak of Nanticoke,23 years, electrocuted by an electric wire extension into his garage.
Nov.5th Alfred Hess of Shickshinny, 15 years,shot by a companion accidentally while hunting.
Nov.5th Thomas Arnold of Lee Park, 65 years, of injuries sustained by an automobile striking his wagon.
Nov.6th Miles Davis of Wilkes-Barre, 15 years, son of Mr.and Mrs.David T.Davis, crashed into a automobile on 
a runaway bicycle.
Nov.7th   Nicholas Scallion, 4 years, drowned by falling into a flooded excavation.
Nov.9th   Michael Sucko of Nanticoke, 7 years, struck by a street car.
Nov.14th Sergeant William T.Kolb, of the 109th Field Artillery, a resident of Dorranceton,dies as a result of 
injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Wyoming.
Nov.15th Body of Frederick Golder of Nescopeck, 18 years, who failed to return after going to fix his eel 
walls a month ago, 
found in the river.
Nov.17th Mary H. Netick of Swoyerville,11 years, clothing ignited at a bon fire.
Nov.30th Joseph Felber of Hazleton, 42 years, struck by a automobile.
