Ignatz Yaskulski, 58, who police said, had suspicions about his wife, Lottie, 56, shot and killed her January 27 in the kitchen of their home, 186 West Broad Street, Nanticoke, and then killed himself. Sebastin Falvo, 54, of 6 Martin Court, Pittston, shot and killed his married step-daughter, Carmela Jenkins, 21, rear 110 South Ridge Street, Taylor, March 30 because she would not move to his home and care for her younger sisters. Falvo was tried in Lackawanna County Court and sentenced to life imprisonment in Eastern Penitentiary. Mrs. Ruth Christman, 53, Sugarloaf Valley, was indicted for thr rifle slaying of her husband, Nevin, 63, June 9 while the victim slept in the couple's farmhouse.
