Andrew Podlinski, 30, of rear 188 Chamberlain Street, Plains Township, was sentenced February 10 to serve three to nine years in the Eastern State Penitentiary on his plea of guilty to a manslaughter indictment stemming from the death of his wife. Joseph Bonsick, 50, of 130 East Maple Steet, Hazleton, fired one bullet into his head from a .25 caliber Colt automatic to take his own life the night of April 13 after killing Ann Semuta, 36, of 550 Harrison Street, Hazleton, police reported. Miss Semuta was shot while bowling at St. John’s Bowling Alley. A husband-wife murder-suicide occurred July 2 at Upper Lehigh, Foster Township. Michael Joseph Wish, 58, allegedly shot and killed his wife, Anna, 56, with a pump gun. Their bodies were discovered in the backyard of their home. Typed by Robin Percy, July 2004
