Haw Bluff Church
Bladen County, NC




The original church was built in 1859 when a group got together and formed this congregation. 

In the minutes of the Baptist Association, it is stated that H.G. Barnhill and A.J. Barnhill were delegates from the Haw Bluff Church to the Association. 

Many of the original members were related by blood and through marriages.

H.G.(Hulen) Barnhill was my great granduncle
A. J. (Anthony) Barnhill was my 1st cousin, 4x removed
H. G. and A. J. were 1st cousins
